# Mish vs SlowRead

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mish at weekly against SlowRead's fortnightly. Mish also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mish sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SlowRead sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mish ships an update weekly, SlowRead fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
