# Mish vs Book Memo

The clearest difference is ads: Mish at none against Book Memo's shown. Mish also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Book Memo's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mish sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Book Memo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mish ships an update weekly, Book Memo every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
