# Scrollcut vs StepLock

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: StepLock at 18.0 against Scrollcut's 26.2. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scrollcut sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $34.99 per year and StepLock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scrollcut ships an update every 4 days, StepLock every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
