# Hours Tracker vs Pulse

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pulse at every 4 days against Hours Tracker's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hours Tracker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Pulse sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hours Tracker ships an update every 6 weeks, Pulse every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
