# DevelopFilm vs Cutvey Meter

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cutvey Meter at free against DevelopFilm's freemium. Cutvey Meter also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 days) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DevelopFilm sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Cutvey Meter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for DevelopFilm against 5.0 for Cutvey Meter. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 2 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

DevelopFilm ships an update every 11 days, Cutvey Meter every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
