# Vetiver vs NGA Plus

The clearest difference is rating: NGA Plus at 5.0 against Vetiver's 4.4. NGA Plus also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (17 vs 26.0). Vetiver's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NGA Plus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Vetiver asks for nothing beyond the download.

NGA Plus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vetiver has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vetiver ships an update weekly, NGA Plus every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
