# Loop vs Hyud

The clearest difference is ads: Loop at none against Hyud's shown. Loop also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Hyud sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Loop ships an update every 10 days, Hyud fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
