# Summary vs EaseNote

The clearest difference is ads: EaseNote at none against Summary's shown. EaseNote also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Summary's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Summary sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and EaseNote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EaseNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Summary has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Summary ships an update every 6 days, EaseNote every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
