# Summary vs PDF Converter

The clearest difference is ads: PDF Converter at none against Summary's shown. Summary's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Summary sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and PDF Converter sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Summary holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 7 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Summary ships an update every 6 days, PDF Converter every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
