# Summary vs AmyNote

The clearest difference is ads: AmyNote at none against Summary's shown. AmyNote also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Summary's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Summary sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and AmyNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AmyNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Summary has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Summary ships an update every 6 days, AmyNote every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
