# Summary vs Teleprompter Video

The clearest difference is ads: Teleprompter Video at none against Summary's shown. Teleprompter Video also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Summary's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Summary sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Teleprompter Video sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Teleprompter Video holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 6 respectively.

Summary ships an update every 6 days, Teleprompter Video fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
