# Summary vs Video Teleprompter

The clearest difference is ads: Video Teleprompter at none against Summary's shown. Video Teleprompter also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Summary's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Summary sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Video Teleprompter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Summary ships an update every 6 days, Video Teleprompter every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
