# WeeVPN vs SplitVPN

The clearest difference is rating: WeeVPN at 5.0 against SplitVPN's 4.5. SplitVPN's advantage is ratings volume (430 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeeVPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and SplitVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WeeVPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SplitVPN has 430 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WeeVPN ships an update every 9 days, SplitVPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
