# TV 2 Play vs Allente

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TV 2 Play at 50% against Allente's 0%. TV 2 Play also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (72 vs 1). Allente's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Allente holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV 2 Play has 72 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of TV 2 Play's written reviews are positive against 0% of Allente's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TV 2 Play ships an update every 9 days, Allente monthly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
