# bulletin. vs TalkingPoints

The clearest difference is rating: bulletin. at 4.9 against TalkingPoints's 3.0. bulletin. also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1). TalkingPoints's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

bulletin. holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: bulletin. has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of bulletin.'s written reviews are positive against 88% of TalkingPoints's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

bulletin. ships an update every 5 weeks, TalkingPoints every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
