# DayStart AI vs Post Notes

The clearest difference is monetization model: DayStart AI at freemium against Post Notes's subscription. DayStart AI also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1). Post Notes's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayStart AI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Post Notes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Post Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DayStart AI has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
