# Phone Shield Tools vs SkilletLog

The clearest difference is update cadence: Phone Shield Tools at every 8 days against SkilletLog's every 3 weeks. SkilletLog's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Phone Shield Tools sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and SkilletLog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
