# Sequence Samba vs Water Magic Match

The clearest difference is update cadence: Water Magic Match at every 4 days against Sequence Samba's fortnightly. Water Magic Match also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sequence Samba sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Water Magic Match sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sequence Samba ships an update fortnightly, Water Magic Match every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
