# Nexify VPN vs Authenticator App

The clearest difference is rating: Nexify VPN at 4.8 against Authenticator App's 3.8. Nexify VPN also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nexify VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Authenticator App sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nexify VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nexify VPN has 22 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Nexify VPN ships an update every 5 days, Authenticator App every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
