# Pulse RSS vs MyLys

The clearest difference is update cadence: MyLys at every 2 days against Pulse RSS's monthly. MyLys also leads on iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pulse RSS sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and MyLys sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pulse RSS ships an update monthly, MyLys every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
