# Running Interval Timer HIIT vs 5K Run

The clearest difference is update cadence: 5K Run at every 3 weeks against Running Interval Timer HIIT's every 7 months. Running Interval Timer HIIT's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Running Interval Timer HIIT sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and 5K Run sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
