# ScrollCraft vs Kex

The clearest difference is ads: ScrollCraft at none against Kex's shown. Kex's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScrollCraft sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Kex sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScrollCraft ships an update every 2 months, Kex every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
