Ginko helps families plan screen time and move on to the next activity. Before a child starts watching or playing, they tap in with a plan: what they want to do, how long they expect to spend, and what they would like to do afterward. A visual timer keeps the session visible. When time is up, they can play a short game or skip straight back to the real world. Parents can use Family Compass to see tap-ins and screen-time patterns across the family. The Devices tab brings pairing, app access, and device readiness together. Guided setup helps you add your kids, connect their iPad, complete Apple approval, and choose protected apps. You can save your progress and finish setup later. FEATURES • Tap-in planning before a screen-time session • Visual screen-time timer and end cue • Short games for the transition away from screens • Family activity and screen-time summaries for parents • Lock Screen Live Activities and local notifications • Multiple child profiles and separate parent and protected-device experiences • Screen Time app protection with Apple's authorization on each protected device A child Apple Account in Apple Family Sharing supports family-child Screen Time authorization. For one child using an iPad signed in with an adult Apple Account, Ginko can use individual Screen Time authorization while keeping that child assigned. Shared family devices use a device-wide app list. Individual Screen Time access can be revoked by the device owner. Ginko is designed for parents and children to manage screen-time routines together.
