# Forge vs Dotyo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Forge at weekly against Dotyo's every 3 weeks. Dotyo's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forge sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Dotyo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forge ships an update weekly, Dotyo every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
