# Arikh vs Raw Text Editor

The clearest difference is update cadence: Raw Text Editor at every 2 months against Arikh's every 11 months. Raw Text Editor also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arikh sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Raw Text Editor sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Arikh ships an update every 11 months, Raw Text Editor every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
