# Subpilot vs SubTracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Subpilot at 81% against SubTracker's 14%. Subpilot also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.2) and ratings volume (5K vs 13). SubTracker's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subpilot sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and SubTracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Subpilot holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subpilot has 5K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of Subpilot's written reviews are positive against 14% of SubTracker's.

Subpilot ships an update every 4 days, SubTracker every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
