# JuJo vs Kitplanes

The clearest difference is rating: Kitplanes at 5.0 against JuJo's 4.6. Kitplanes also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). JuJo's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (19 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. JuJo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Kitplanes sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $35.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kitplanes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JuJo has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

JuJo ships an update every 2 weeks, Kitplanes every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
