# Teleprompter vs Scriptum AI

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scriptum AI at every 4 days against Teleprompter's monthly. Scriptum AI also leads on ratings volume (145 vs 7). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Scriptum AI sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.9 for Teleprompter against 3.8 for Scriptum AI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scriptum AI has 145 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Teleprompter ships an update monthly, Scriptum AI every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
