# On vs Teleprompter

The clearest difference is update cadence: On at every 5 days against Teleprompter's every 2 weeks. On also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. On sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Teleprompter sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On ships an update every 5 days, Teleprompter every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
