# Commando Studio vs Ares Training Club

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Commando Studio at 70 against Ares Training Club's 1. Ares Training Club's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Commando Studio against 5.0 for Ares Training Club. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Commando Studio has 70 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Commando Studio ships an update every 3 weeks, Ares Training Club every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 4, 2026.
