# Timingo vs Tempus

The clearest difference is rating: Tempus at 4.7 against Timingo's 2.0. Tempus also leads on ratings volume (61 vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). Timingo's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 76%) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timingo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Tempus sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tempus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tempus has 61 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Timingo's written reviews are positive against 76% of Tempus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Timingo ships an update fortnightly, Tempus every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
