# HyperResponder vs Barbello

The clearest difference is update cadence: Barbello at every 4 weeks against HyperResponder's every 2 months. Barbello also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HyperResponder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Barbello sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HyperResponder ships an update every 2 months, Barbello every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
