# Pic It vs TextKeep

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pic It at free with in-app purchases against TextKeep's subscription. Pic It also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3). TextKeep's advantage is ratings volume (303 vs 5) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pic It sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and TextKeep sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pic It holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TextKeep has 303 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pic It ships an update every 10 days, TextKeep every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
