# Assignment Tracker vs CollegeCal

The clearest difference is rating: Assignment Tracker at 5.0 against CollegeCal's 3.0. CollegeCal's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Assignment Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and CollegeCal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Assignment Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CollegeCal has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Assignment Tracker ships an update every 3 months, CollegeCal every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
