# Format Conversion vs FluPlayer

The clearest difference is rating: FluPlayer at 2.9 against Format Conversion's 1.0. FluPlayer also leads on ratings volume (100 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Format Conversion sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and FluPlayer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FluPlayer holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FluPlayer has 100 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

Format Conversion ships an update every 11 days, FluPlayer every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
