# Cook vs SweetsMap

The clearest difference is update cadence: SweetsMap at every 3 weeks against Cook's every 7 months. Cook's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cook sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and SweetsMap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cook ships an update every 7 months, SweetsMap every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
