# SciCalc Pro vs BrainHero

The clearest difference is update cadence: BrainHero at every 2 days against SciCalc Pro's every 13 months. BrainHero also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SciCalc Pro against 4.9 for BrainHero. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BrainHero has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SciCalc Pro ships an update every 13 months, BrainHero every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
