# SciCalc Pro vs Parent Cove

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SciCalc Pro at none against Parent Cove's 5. Parent Cove's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parent Cove sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. SciCalc Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SciCalc Pro against 5.0 for Parent Cove. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parent Cove has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
