# Dat Donut vs AmazCakes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dat Donut at every 2 weeks against AmazCakes's every 3 months. Dat Donut also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). AmazCakes's advantage is ratings volume (78 vs 6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AmazCakes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AmazCakes has 78 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
