# Event Countdown vs L

The clearest difference is update cadence: Event Countdown at every 2 days against L's every 4 months. L's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Event Countdown sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and L sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Event Countdown against 4.9 for L. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: L has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Event Countdown ships an update every 2 days, L every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
