# herein vs Scrolla

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: herein at none against Scrolla's 3. herein also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4). Scrolla's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scrolla sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. herein asks for nothing beyond the download.

herein holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 32 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of herein's written reviews are positive against 89% of Scrolla's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

herein ships an update weekly, Scrolla every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
