# RedCoach vs Century Tree Transit

The clearest difference is ratings volume: RedCoach at 1K against Century Tree Transit's 8. Century Tree Transit's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Century Tree Transit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RedCoach has 1K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RedCoach ships an update every 10 days, Century Tree Transit every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
