# Cipher vs FileSizeFix

The clearest difference is ads: Cipher at none against FileSizeFix's shown. FileSizeFix's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 14 months) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cipher sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and FileSizeFix sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
