# PowerTread vs Treadmill Pro

The clearest difference is rating: PowerTread at 5.0 against Treadmill Pro's 4.5. Treadmill Pro's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PowerTread sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Treadmill Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PowerTread holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Treadmill Pro has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

PowerTread ships an update every 2 weeks, Treadmill Pro weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
