# PowerTread vs S

The clearest difference is update cadence: S at every 3 days against PowerTread's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PowerTread sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and S sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PowerTread ships an update every 2 weeks, S every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
