# IT ToolKit vs DeviceShelf

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IT ToolKit at none against DeviceShelf's 3. DeviceShelf's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DeviceShelf sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. IT ToolKit asks for nothing beyond the download.

IT ToolKit ships an update every 3 weeks, DeviceShelf every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
