# Idea Note vs Lumo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lumo at every 2 days against Idea Note's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Idea Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Lumo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
