# Transparency vs Scrub

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scrub at every 8 days against Transparency's every 4 months. Scrub also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transparency sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Scrub sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Transparency ships an update every 4 months, Scrub every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
