# Live Fasting vs Sunfold

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sunfold at every 3 weeks against Live Fasting's every 9 months. Sunfold also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Fasting sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sunfold sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Live Fasting ships an update every 9 months, Sunfold every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
