# Octa vs GoMim

The clearest difference is ads: Octa at none against GoMim's shown. Octa also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Octa sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and GoMim sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Octa ships an update every 2 weeks, GoMim every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
